about

“We shall not cease from exploring. And the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we started, and to know the place for the first time.” T.S. Elliott

“The trajectory of the Centaur's arrows lead us back from the future, or the past,
and we land in the present.” [1]
The tune is a lament dedicated to all the victims of futile wars and struggles.
In the myth, Chiron is 'accidentially' hit by his student Hercules by an arrow with poison from the deadly Hydra. “A symbol of his wounded animal nature, which
can be seen to parallel how we earthlings have wounded our sacred earth with the Herculean endeavour to satisfy our collective greed and acquisitiveness. The result is that our survival as a species is no longer assured.” [2]

Melanie Reinhardt – Chiron and the healing Journey, 3rd edition 2009, [1] p. 100, [2] p. 56
